FAQs

A power inverter, or inverter, is an electronic device or circuitry that changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The input voltage, output voltage and frequency and overall power handling depend on the design of the specific device or circuitry. The inverter does not produce any power; the power is provided by the DC source.

Binary communication consists of ones and zeros. A digital inverter is a basic building block of many binary devices. It simply takes a zero or one as input and returns a one or zero, respectively, as output.

Sine wave inverters use direct current (DC) electricity to simulate alternating current (AC) electricity.

An uninterruptible power supply, also uninterruptible power source, UPS or battery / flywheel backup, is a continual power system, an electrical apparatus that provides emergency power to a load when the input power source or mains power fails. The on-battery runtime of most uninterruptible power sources is relatively short (only a few minutes) but sufficient to start a standby power source or properly shut down the protected equipment.

Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides power in case of power cut. It's mostly used for desktop computers backup.
Inverter is a power backup solution. The total unit consists of three component the charges (your homes electricity), battery and Inverter circuit which converts DC battery current to electricity. It is mainly used to supply backup power to total home.

There are 4 types of UPS.
Offline UPS: The Offline / Standby UPS (SPS) offer only the most basic features, providing surge protection and battery backup. With this type of UPS, a user's equipment is normally connected directly to incoming utility power with high Voltage & low voltage cut off.

Inverter / Home UPS: The Home ups is similar in all the ways to an offline ups & it has two models available in the market - Home ups with square wave output & Home ups with sine wave output

Line-Interactive UPS: The Line-Interactive UPS is similar in operation to a Standby UPS, but with the addition of a multi-tap variable-voltage autotransformer. This is a special type of electrical transformer that is used to provide Automatic voltage Regulator (Built-in Stabilizer) inside the UPS to protect your equipments from low & high voltages.

Online UPS: The Online UPS is ideal for environments where electrical isolation is necessary or for equipment that is very sensitive to power fluctuations. Although once previously reserved for very large installations of 10 KW or more, advances in technology have permitted it to now be available as a common consumer device, supplying 1000 watts or less.

Servo Voltage Stabilizer uses an advance electronic controlled servo motor concept to govern a motorized variable transformer. Because of the motors involved, there is a small delay in voltage correction. However, output voltage accuracy is usually ±1% with input voltage changes of up to ±50%. This type of technology tends to be extremely effective when considering large three phase applications, as it is able to maintain its accuracy of all these phases, despite of input voltages balance and load balance at any power factor.

Industrial settings require many different power sources. Industrial batteries, used in material handling equipment, are just one way that manufacturing plants, warehouses, mines can operate efficiently. Standard industrial batteries provide constant power over a long span of time and require regular maintenance, such as watering, as well as careful charging.

An automotive battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical current to a motor vehicle. Its main purpose is to feed the starter, which starts the engine. Once the engine is running, power for the car's electrical systems is supplied by the alternator. Typically, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI (Starting, Lighting and Ignition) batteries are designed to release a high burst of current and then be quickly recharged. They are not designed for deep discharge, and a full discharge can reduce the battery's lifespan.
